Corkscrew Road – Phase II (Estero, FL)

Bergeron Land Development has been hired by Lee County to upgrade the Phase II section of Corkscrew Road between Bella Terra Boulevard and Alico Road. The project will include widening Corkscrew Road from two lanes to four lanes, constructing 22-foot wide grassed and landscaped medians, and upgrading more than 3.5 miles of utilities including potable watermain, raw watermain, and sewer forcemain.
Bergeron and their subcontractors will also install more than 15,000 linear feet of drainage pipe up to 60” in diameter and create an eight-acre pond for stormwater storage and treatment as well as lighting on both sides of the road including a new signalized intersection at Corkscrew Road/Alico Road.
The project began in February 2024 and is scheduled for completion in late 2025.
