Broward County, Florida retained the services of Bergeron Land Development to construct an 18.8 acre container storage yard following the demolition of a Foreign Trade Zone facility at the Port Everglades Southport Phase IX.

The new container yard is a terminal yard for storage, trans-shipment and staging of shipping containers, cargo, and equipment and includes ancillary buildings and truck scales. Bergeron Land Development provided labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for construction, site clearing, excess material disposal, pavement, drainage, water, sewer, entry drive, security fence, lighting, and cleaning of existing drainage facilities.
